Roles and Responsibilities of R & D Committee
1. Motivates students and faculty to conduct research projects in thrust areas of science and engineering.
2. Encourage students and faculty to publish their research output in reputed national and international journals.
3. Motivate faculty for patent publication.
4. Encourage Students and faculty to present and publish their research work/ project in conferences and seminars.
5. Guide and inspire faculty to write and submit effective research proposals to various Government/ non- govt. funding agencies.
6. Help and support faculty and students to organize and attend conferences/ STTP/ FDPs/ workshops/ seminars/ training/ Expert talk.
7. Encourage students for participating in research activities, project presentations and project competitions like Avishkar, etc.
8. Balance Research and Development activities with academic and admin works.
9. Contribute to improve resource utilization.
10. Contribute for development of Eyantra Lab supported by IITB.
11. Encourage students to execute Multidisciplinary Projects.
12. Maintain close ties with industry and international collaboration for projects.
